The stars and director of "Pretty Woman" reteam in this witty romantic romp. Julia Roberts is Maggie Carpenter, a Maryland hardware store clerk with a habit of leaving would-be grooms stranded at the altar. An article criticizing her actions by a newspaper columnist (Richard Gere) prompts an angry response and leads him to investigate further in Maggie's hometown, where the mismatched pair eventually fall in love. With Joan Cusack, Rita Wilson; directed by Garry Marshall. 116 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital Surround, French Dolby Digital Surround; Subtitles: English; audio commentary by Marshall; music video; theatrical trailer.
