CONEHEADS: The story concerns Beldar (Dan Aykroyd) and Prymaat (Jane Curtin), who leave the planet Remulak to prepare for an invasion of Planet Earth. But due to a malfunction, they find themselves plunged into the Hudson River and forced to take up residence in Paramus, New Jersey where Beldar gets work as an appliance salesman and makes a deal for a phony social security card. Before long, all thoughts of invading Earth are left behind as Beldar and Prymaat quickly adapt to suburban life - except for their coneheads and metallic-sounding voices, they become a typical middle-class suburban family. WAYNE'S WORLD: Based on the Saturday Night Live sketch of the same name, Wayne's World is a wacky, irreverent pop-culture comedy about the adventures of two amiably aimless metal-head friends, Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey). From Wayne's basement, the pair broadcast a talk-show called 'Wayne's World' on local public access television. DICKIE ROBERTS: In the 1970's, Dickie Roberts held the keys to success as a child star with a hit TV series. Now the only keys Dickie holds are the ones that start the customer's cars that he parks as a valet attendant for a Hollywood restaurant. Desparate to revive his acting career, Dickie tries to audition for a role in Rob Reiner's new movie but the director doesn't believe Dickie is normal enough to play the part. Determined to get the role, Dickie hires a 'typical' family to give him the real-life upbringing he never had. LADIES MAN: Yet another recurring character from Saturday Night Live makes the jump to the big screen in this comedy. Leon Phelps (Tim Meadows) is the host of a radio call-in show in which he dispenses advice on the fine art of seduction, for which he seems to have quite a talent - rather surprising, seeing that he's usually broke, nearly everything he says sounds crass and obvious, and he possesses a fashion sense that would have been gauche in the mid-1970s but seems just plain freakish today. SUPERSTAR: You'll laugh, you'll cheer! A new queen of comedy is born! - Earl Dittman, Wireless Magazine Saturday Night Live star Molly Shannon brings her popular character Mary Katherine Gallagher to the big screen in this hilarious comedy romp. All schoolgirl Mary Katherine Gallagher (Shannon) wants in life is a kiss. Not just any kiss, mind you - a big-time, hold-your-breath-'til-you-think-you're-gonna-faint, Hollywood-style kiss.
