The Unknown Terror (1957)
When an explorer went missing deep in Mexico, his worried family mounted an expedition to find him. Their journey brought them to a location that the skittish townsfolk deemed the "Cave of Death"--and they'd discover it was aptly named, as a mad researcher (Gerald Milton) used it to house a foamy fungus that turned all it touched into moldy man-beasts. Long-sought fantasy-frightener co-stars Mala Powers, John Howard, Paul Richard, May Wynn. 77 min. BW/Rtg: NR
The Colossus Of New York (1958)
After a brilliant researcher is killed in an accident, the man’s surgeon father and robotics expert brother transplant his brain into the body of a giant robot. Suddenly returned to life as the Colossus Robot, the dead man finds himself missing his wife and child and resenting his family’s nature-defying actions. Quicker than you can say "Frankenstein’s monster" he begins a rampage of terror. Thrilling sci-fi tale stars John Baragrey, Mala Powers, Otto Kruger, Ross Martin. 70 min. BW/Rtg: NR
Destination Inner Space (1966)
In the ocean it’s a little more difficult for someone to hear you scream, as the staff of an underwater research lab learns after discovering the wreckage of an alien craft on the sea floor. The ship contains a pod which grows into a savage aquatic creature that must be stopped before it’s too late. Deep-six sci-fi shocker stars Scott Brady, Gary Merrill, Sheree North. 83 min. C/Rtg: NR
Standard and Widescreen; Soundtrack: English; Subtitles: English; audio commentary; theatrical trailers.
