Anita Ekberg plays exotic dancer Virginia Wilson, who seeks counseling after being violently attacked and witnessing a brutal murder. Wilson's fragile state of mind is made even more so when her therapist (Harry Townes) falls in love with her and attempts to exert total control over her life, insisting she give up her job performing at the tawdry club owned by tough cookie Gypsy Mapes (Gypsy Rose Lee). Philip Carey, Red Norvo co-star in this noir thriller based on Fredric Brown's novel (which also inspired Dario Argento's "The Bird with the Crystal Plumage"). 79 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
