In search of strange stories for his screenplay "Seven Psychopaths," screenwriter Marty Faranan (Colin Farrell) gives the green light to a struggling actor friend (Sam Rockwell) to solicit anecdotes from genuinely crazed people. In the process, they soon get mixed up with a dognapper (Christopher Walken) who snatches a Shih Tzu from a mob boss (Woody Harrelson).
