Annie Get Your Gun (1950)
One of the most-requested titles in Movies Unlimited history, this fun-filled film version of the Irving Berlin musical stars Betty Hutton (who replaced Judy Garland shortly after shooting began) as legendary Wild West sharpshooter Annie Oakley, who falls for fellow marksman Frank Butler (Howard Keel). Show Boat (1951)
Spectacular MGM rendition of the beloved Hammerstein-Kern tale of show folk and steamboats along the old Mississippi. On board the show boat Cotton Blossom, an interracial couple (Ava Gardner, Robert Sterling) faces bigotry, and romance blooms for the captain’s daughter (Kathryn Grayson) and a riverboat gambler (Howard Keel). Kiss Me Kate (1953)
