August Star (Simon Provan) is a Hollywood actor who reluctantly returns to his hometown of Owl's Point with his mom/manager Rhonda (Dale Waddington) and director Tony (Ken Williams) to film a Christmas special. Three years earlier, August escaped Owl's Point with a great deal of unresolved baggage following the death of his father, Keeper (David Rupprecht). Now, he must confront his feelings for Mandy (Heather Ricks) and his relationship with her and her young daughter Olivia (Hannah Frahm). August also learns that local judge Karl (Daniel Truhitte, The Sound of Music), the town innkeeper Henry (John Morgan) and rising political star Brad (Michael Oilar) each deliver a missing piece to a long unsolved family puzzle.
