George Lucas' sci-fi epic "Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope" (1977) follows farmboy Luke Skywalker, smuggler Han Solo, Wookiee Chewbacca, droids C-3PO and R2-D2, and Jedi Knight Ben Kenobi on an adventure to rescue Princess Leia and aid the Rebel Alliance in their fight against Darth Vader and the Empire.
