First, Universal Pictures and England's Hammer Films teamed to make a half-hour TV pilot based on Mary Shelley's shocker; Anton Diffring and Don Megowan star in "Tales of Frankenstein." Then, when "The Raven" finished shooting three days early, a thrifty Roger Corman used the cast and sets for the surprisingly effective chiller, "The Terror." Jack Nicholson plays a lieutenant in Napoleon's army who is haunted by a mysterious woman in mad baron Boris Karloff's sinister castle. With Sandra Knight and the great Dick Miller. 108 min. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English.
