The Artist's Wife

Claire Smythson (Lena Olin) had no qualms tabling her artistic aspirations while backing the career of her spouse, the famous--and famously cantankerous--abstract painter Richard (Bruce Dern). As he begins to lose his battle with dementia, however, she must juggle hiding his condition from the art world, mending fences with her stepdaughter (Juliet Rylance) whom he alienated, and coming into her creative own.
