First, Wallace Beery is "The Bad Man of Brimstone," who discovers that his latest robbery victim is his own son (Dennis O'Keefe), a boxer who eventually allies himself with local law enforcement as a tax collector. When the two meet again, Beery finds himself unable to battle his own flesh and blood. Virginia Bruce, Bruce Cabot co-star. Next, Beery is "The Bad Man" Pancho Lopez, a notorious Mexican bandit out to repay a debt he owes to a rancher (Ronald Reagan) who once saved his life. Lopez soon takes aim at the villainous "loan fish" trying to foreclose on the property. Based on the Porter Emerson Browne play first filmed in 1923; Lionel Barrymore, Laraine Day co-star. 159 min. total on two discs. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
