The orderly household of Hungarian prime minister Count Albert Sandor (Henry Stephenson) becomes a lot less so when loyal manservant Johann Porok (William Powell) wins a parliamentary seat with the opposition party. The unrest only escalates when the Sandor’s unhappily married daughter (Annabella) starts seeing her now-politicized retainer in a new light. Mix of romantic drama and class farce co-stars Joseph Schildkraut, J. Edward Bromberg. 79 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
