![The Blue Dahlia [Import]](https://mediacdn.aent-m.com/prod-img/300/68/4126868-2871707.jpg?ae=3776891150)
When navy officer Johnny Morrison (Alan Ladd) comes home to the Hollywood Hills after serving in the war, he is shocked to find that his wife Helen (Doris Dowling) is having an affair with Eddie Harwood (Eddie Da Silva), the owner of the glamorous Blue Dahlia nightclub on the Sunset Strip. But when Helen is murdered and Johnny is the prime suspect, he must prove his innocence with the help of Joyce (Veronica Lake), Eddie's beautiful and mysterious estranged wife.
Directed by one of the great masters of old Hollywood, George Marshall, and written by acclaimed Noir novelist Raymond Chandler - in his only produced original screenplay, The Blue Dahlia reteams Hollywood legends Alan Ladd and Veronica Lake in a gripping tale of suspense and intrigue. Showcasing some of the most celebrated talent from the golden age of silver screen, The Blue Dahlia is the perfect blend of old Hollywood glamour and Film Noir grit.
