Gold Rush era-San Francisco was the setting for this Western that aired on NBC over 1957-1959, as journalist Dion Patrick (Adam Kennedy) found that only means for bringing any order to the lawless town was to ride with shopkeeper Jack McGivern (Sean McClory) and his organized vigilantes. Midway through the first season, duly elected sheriff Matthew Wayne (Richard Coogan) became the show’s focal point; Nan Leslie, Herbert Rudley, Carole Matthews, Art Fleming also starred.
