After an auto accident forced series co-star Percy Kilbride to retire, Marjorie Main continued as Ma Kettle in the final two films. Main packs her brood up to visit hillbilly brother-in-law Arthur Hunnicutt and helps him deal with moonshiners in "The Kettles in the Ozarks" (1956). Una Merkel also stars. Then, Parker Fennelly takes over the role of Pa in "The Kettles on Old MacDonald's Farm" (1957), as he and Main play Cupid for woodsman John Smith and socialite Gloria Talbott. 162 min. total.
