Peppy romantic comedy with Bette Davis as a cafeteria cashier hired to pose as a beautiful cosmetics heiress. Hounded by an endless stream of golddigging playboys, Davis orchestrates a marriage of convenience with a starving reporter (George Brent), allowing him to finish his novel and getting her off the market. But the plan may come crashing down when Brent balks at playing the dutiful husband and Davis realizes she actually loves him. With Eugene Pallette, Dick Foran. 68 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
