Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and Watson (Nigel Bruce) are called in to investigate a strange series of murders among the members of the Good Comrades Club, only to find that one member's intentions are hardly good at all. Dennis Hoey, Paul Cavanaugh co-star in "The House of Fear," based on Conan Doyle's "The Adventures of the Five Orange Pips." Next, what is the sinister secret behind a gruesome series of killings and the smashing of several busts of Beethoven? Holmes and Watson (Rathbone, Bruce) will find out, but first they must deal with the grotesque Creeper (Rondo Hatton) and "The Pearl of Death."
