SYNOPSIS:

Wild Is the Wind co-stars Anthony Quinn (Zorba the Greek, Lawrence of Arabia, Lust for Life, The Guns of Navarone) and Anna Magnani (The Rose Tattoo, Rome Open City, Bellissima, L'Amore) are reunited as Italo and Rosa, the battling Bombolinis, in director Stanley Kramer's (Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Judgment at Nuremberg, Inherit the Wind, The Defiant Ones) The Secret of Santa Vittoria.

After the fall of Mussolini, Italo, Santa Vittoria's most bedraggled citizen, is appointed mayor by the resigning Fascist leadership. When the German army led by Captain Sepp von Prum (Hardy Kruger, Flight of the Phoenix, Barry Lyndon, Hatari!) arrives in search of the spoils of war, the townsfolk must concoct a scheme to conceal their most valuable treasure, a million bottles of wine.
