Leading off this double feature is "The Sheik," the silent costume drama that permanently fixed Rudolph Valentino's screen persona in the Hollywood pantheon. Rudy is still enthralling as the desert prince who abducts an English woman to be his bride, then must rescue her from a rival. With Agnes Ayres, Adolphe Menjou.
Then, Valentino's last film was the sequel "The Son of the Sheik," where he plays the son of the famed desert warrior, out to exact vengeance on the bandits who wronged a dancing girl. With Vilma Banky.
