Tarzan's Magic Fountain (1949)
Marking Lex Barker’s debut as Edgar Rice Burroughs’ loinclothed hero, this actioner finds Tarzan helping an aviatrix who emerges from a remote valley years after being declared lost, seemingly without having aged a day. The jungle king must stop some unscrupulous types from discovering the "fountain of youth" that kept her young. Brenda Joyce, Evelyn Ankers, and Albert Dekker co-star. 73 min. BW/Rtg: NR
Tarzan And The Slave Girl (1950)
When members of the Lionian tribe begin dying, their chief decides to kidnap Jane and nurse Lola to help repopulate the civilization. Obviously, this doesn’t sit well with the King of the Jungle! When Tarzan attempts to mount a rescue, he runs afoul of a strange group of savages! Can he make things right? Do monkeys like bananas? Lex Barker, Vanessa Brown, Robert Alda star. 74 min. BW/Rtg: NR
Tarzan's Peril (1951)
When gunrunners arrive in the jungle, it spells plenty of trouble for Tarzan in this great vintage actioner. Armed with rifles acquired in exchange for gems, the warlike Yorongan people attack the Ashuba tribe and its beautiful queen. In order to make things right, the Ape Man must square off against the baddies in the toughest challenge of his life. Lex Barker, Virginia Houston, George Macready, and Dorothy Dandridge star. 79 min. BW/Rtg: NR
Tarzan's Savage Fury (1952)
In this adventure, Tarzan is duped by a pair of jewel thieves headed up by a man who is impersonating the Lord of the Apes’ cousin. Believing that he is helping the men on a mission to retrieve diamonds essential to Britain’s military success, Tarzan goes, well, ape when he discovers what the con artists are really up to. Lex Barker, Dorothy Hart, Patric Knowles star. 79 min. BW/Rtg: NR
Tarzan And The She-Devil (1953)
For his fifth and final turn as Hollywood’s most famous vine-swinger, Lex Barker’s Tarzan faces the seductive menace of Lyra, the She-Devil (Monique van Vooren), head of an ivory poaching ring who plans to kidnap Jane (Joyce MacKenzie) and force the jungle lord to aid the nefarious operation. Raymond Burr and Tom Conway also star. 75 min. BW/Rtg: NR
