Spectacular visuals highlight co-writer/director Robert Zemeckis' true-life account of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit's (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) 1974 tightrope walk between the World Trade Center's twin towers. With help from an eclectic group of accomplices, former Paris street performer Petit would meticulously plan and execute a death-defying--and illegal--stroll to be taken over 1,300 feet above New York City. Charlotte Le Bon, Clément Sibony, James Badge Dale, and Ben Kingsley also star. 123 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital stereo Surround, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai; Subtitles: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin.
