This special collection features four silent fantasies produced by L. Frank Baum's own film company. A young Munchkin boy named Ojo (Violet MacMillan) and Scraps the living doll (Pierre Couderc) visit the Emerald City in "The Patchwork Girl of Oz"(1914); an enchanted cape is at the center of "The Magic Cloak of Oz" (1914), adapted from Baum's "Queen Zixi of Ix" and starring MacMillan; and Dorothy, the Tin Woodsman and the Scarecrow must save Princess Gloria from the wicked witch Mombi in "His Majesty, The Scarecrow of Oz" (1914), with MacMillan, Couderc and Frank Moore. Also included is "The Wizard of Oz" (1925), with Larry Semon and Oliver Hardy. 4 1/3 hrs. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English. Plays All Regions.
