Roving-eyed, no-good broker Larry Ballantine (Robert Young) had a wealthy wife (Rita Johnson) who’d seemingly forgive him anything, and who paid his way out of successive dalliances with journalist Janice Bell (Jane Greer) and employee Verna Carlson (Susan Hayward).
