Chloe Kaye descends upon Los Angeles in a maelstrom of personal turmoil to crash upon an inflatable mattress on the living room floor of her ex-best friend, Emma Hawk. Cut adrift during an existential crisis, Chloe spends her days ordering car rides nowhere on her phone, hoping that the drivers will know where she is going because she doesn't anymore. As Chloe's mind quietly spirals out of control, Emma finds herself no better when abruptly cut off from her antidepressants. Forced to wake up from her narcotic haze, Emma suddenly needs sex, loud punk, stiff drinks, and lots of it as she drowns herself in a new sensory awareness. But can she stay afloat?
