Another fine musical bio from M-G-M stars Fred Astaire as failed magician Bert Kalmar, who finds an unlikely songwriting partner in would-be baseball player Harry Ruby (Red Skelton). The pair strikes gold but it's not long before a misunderstanding ends their collaboration. Can their wives get them back together in time for a big radio broadcast? Vera-Ellen, Arlene Dahl, Keenan Wynn, Debbie Reynolds co-star. Numbers include "Who's Sorry Now?," "I Wanna Be Loved by You," "Thinking of You," and the title tune. 102 min. Standard; Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital mono, French Dolby Digital mono; Subtitles: English, French, Spanish; featurette; theatrical trailer; featurette; bonus shorts "Roaming Through Michigan" (1950), "Ventriloquist Cat" (1950).
