Tortu thrives as a successful IT consultant, pouring his passion into his work. However, his world shatters when he's abruptly laid off, leading to a downward spiral of homelessness and desperation. After months of struggling on the streets, his friend Gary extends a lifeline, enabling Tortu to seek refuge with his uncle Hugo in the serene countryside of Noyers, France. Amidst this new chapter, Tortu crosses paths with Lucas, a local farmer navigating his own journey in rural life. Their connection deepens into a heartfelt romance, yet their happiness is threatened when Tortu is forced to confront the harsh reality of immigration restrictions, casting a shadow over their budding relationship.
