Steven Soderbergh reworks the 1949 thriller "Criss Cross" into an intense modern film noir featuring Peter Gallagher as Michael Chambers, a gambler who returns to his Austin, Texas, home to attend his mother’s wedding and drop in on ex-wife Rachel (Alison Elliott).
