In the early '80s, in fear of an entire generation's moral decay due to the availability of horror movies on home video, the British Parliament acted to criminalize the distribution of films that were uncertified as appropriate. This documentary examines the ban on "video nasties," from the tabloid drumbeat that spurred the censorship to the numerous court battles fought by filmmakers.
