Agoraphobic video editor Miles Grissom (Clark Freeman) was a cauldron of neuroses, but his worst by far was his fear of death...to the point where he took out a newspaper ad offering $30,000 for proof of the afterlife. Taking a road trip with his caustic mom (Annette O’Toole) in pursuit of the small handful of seemingly legitimate responses, he might get a real answer...and might find himself wanting to have been more careful what he wished for.
