Years later, the pair is reunited when Dmitri discovers Katusha is now a prostitute charged with a murder she didn't commit. Based on Tolstoy's novel "Resurrection" (with a script by, among others, Maxwell Anderson and Preston Sturges), this romantic costume drama also stars Jane Baxter, C. Aubrey Smith; Rouben Mamoulian directs. 81 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
