Women and Men: Stories of Seduction offers a trio of tales on love and relationships written by Mary McCarthy, Dorothy Parker and Ernest Hemingway. A woman (Elizabeth McGovern) gets involved with a slick travelling salesman (Beau Bridges); a lothario (Peter Weller) attempts to woo a new conquest (Molly Ringwald); and a train station is the site of revelations for two lovers (Melanie Griffith and James Woods). Next, three more spicy stories─courtesy of Irwin Shaw, Carson McCullers and Henry Miller─are on display in "Women & Men 2." A boxer (Matt Dillon) is torn when his wife asks him to give up his ring career; a husband (Ray Liotta) struggles to care for his alcoholic spouse (Andie MacDowell); and writer Miller (Scott Glenn) has an encounter with a Paris prostitute (Juliette Binoche). 165 min. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English.
